Oracle launches 25 agentic applications in Fusion Cloud, covering the general ledger and procurement spend

Summary: Oracle released Fusion Agentic Applications. The Ledger app supports close readiness and accounting exception handling (e.g., reconciliations and anomaly investigation); the Procurement Spend app flags maverick spend and contract leakage. Actions are subject to approval and authorization. The 25 apps run on Fusion Claw, the execution runtime announced in September; Oracle also introduced Fusion Companion, an interaction layer accessible through supported AI tools such as ChatGPT, alongside AI Agent Studio.

Our take: The design keeps agents within the existing internal control framework: AI prepares the action, while people retain approval authority and accountability. The financial close and reconciliation exceptions are likely early use cases. Key implementation considerations include delegation-of-authority matrices, audit trails and the security boundary when third-party LLMs access ERP data.

NetSuite unveils 45+ SuiteSkills that work with leading LLMs

Summary: At SuiteWorld, Oracle NetSuite introduced more than 45 prebuilt business skills (SuiteSkills) that work with Ask Oracle and supported large language models across finance, inventory, projects and sales.

Our take: Mid-market cloud ERP is opening up to general-purpose LLMs through packaged skills, letting finance users run variance and flux analysis, identify close blockers and review reconciliation differences in natural language, within NetSuite's existing roles and permissions. The reviewability of model outputs remains a point to watch.
